I ordered the Motorized Enchanted Broom from Grandlinroad at their clearance price of $19.95 and free shipping. It was delivered today and I anxiously put it together ... but alas ... it doesn't work ... so sad ... actually it's not bad for a $20 prop and once I get finished redoing the cheap looking plastic handle by replacing it with real tree branch, it will be awesome ... that is if I ever get one that works. Keeping my fingers crossed that a working replacement gets here in time for the "big day" ... anyone else have a similar or better experience?

Sorry to hear that. The one that I had ordered recently works just fine.

Thank you for your kind sentiments ... it is so disappointing when this happens ... I thought Grandinroad was more reliable. Oh well ... stuff happens!

I spoke with customer service at Grandlinroad today ... the lady was very pleasant and apologetic ... she said not to bother returning the defective enchanted motorized witches broom but to keep it as a static prop. She would credit my account and refund the money within 24 hours. Unfortunately they are out of stock and will not be reordering this year ... Now this is good customer service and I appreciate doing busy with GR even though I don't get to use the broom as it was intedted.

I agree with Halloween71. Most likely it's just something simple that's keeping it from working. Open it up and find the problem and you'll have a free broom.

I'm going to consult with my son who has a knack for fixing things ... hopefully there is just a loose wire or some such minor thing ... here's hoping ... yes, I agree that GR did me right by letting me keep the prop and not have to deal with returning it ... they rate high on my list of reliable vendors.

Aww, that is awful! At least GR provides excellent customer service!
I just ordered Vincent Vampire...and when I rec'd the package, it had been cut open and re secured with USPS tape. they stamped "Received Opened" all over it and boy was I disappointed! He was gone!
I called Grandin Road and expected them to have me ship the box back to them for proof that USPS had rec'd it open and delivered it to me that way. Instead, they just sent me out a new one! Hooray!
And the customer service lady said that when the box got ripped open, he must have been turned in to dust by the sunlight! LOL!
