I started collecting again this year. I mostly got masks from Trick or Treat studios. The quality is really good and it was nice to get some masks that look just like the promotional pictures you see online.

yea i like trick r treat studios, cheap enought to wear and collect, jeez i seen some people pay around 3000 for a mask, to much, i occasionly like to wear what buy. i am going to day to pick up som cheaper maskes at walmart, i have never owned a ghost face, so i might pick up the normal-zombie- and scarecrow. and i am gonna use up all my coupons to spirit

All I have to say about masks is Death Studios.

Worth every penny but not $3,000 kinda stuff though it looks like it. You can even get them for display without eyeholes.

I just had the epiphany this year that some people collect Halloween masks. I had never really thought about it, then came across the Death Studios website and bought myself the Lil' Angel mask. It's the most I've ever spent on a mask but it's awesome! Now I'm reconsidering using it on a prop and really thinking I could enjoy getting a good mask maybe once a month and just have them for display. I usually buy a couple after the season on sale just to have stored if I need them, but not the really good ones. I have maybe 20 masks stored away, but they are nothing special.
    I build dead people.

I have a deluxe Freddy Krueger, an anatomically correct skeleton mask with collar bone. I have a Grim Reaper mask with strobe. I have an old glow in the dark pirate mask, and a metal goalie mask with nails in it with the spike parts coming thru the holes, and for this year, a Jason mask.
