Here are some candles I made today. I only have about 20 more to make!I ran out of hot glue
How do you think they came out? Is there anything I can do to make them look even more real?

Great job!!! I was just at Disneyland yesterday and was checking out their candles up close and these look almost exactly like the ones they use in the windows of the shops in New Orleans Square.

HA! Kudos on your very appropriate smiley usage.

Looks awesome, Tammy. I just cut the PVC for ours tonight. You give me hope that we can pull this off. Hope mine look half as good.
The only suggestion I would have (be careful 'cause they look awesome already and I don't want you to ruin them - maybe on the next batch.) is if you could have one drip that carries down to the bottom and pools at the base. I think you'd need to stick something down that you could either peel the glue off or cut it out from.

I think they look fine as-is. I'm not sure about making them more 'real' but you could paint them up a bit to 'antique' them.

They look great good job! I wonder if the non stick tinfoil would work for the spill over?

Take some black acrylic paint and water it down a little. Use a foam brush and just paint it in all the crevices (not the whole candle). Then with a paper towel (and while the paint is still wet), wipe from the top to the bottom of the candle to remove the excess.
