Well hi everyone!
I humbly submit my Bone Cart for peer review!!! I had this idea a few weeks back when I came across the wagon wheels, and the rest just fell into place. It's brand-spankin' new, so there is a lot of age and weathering to be done, a lot of which I'll rely on Mother Nature to do over the years. Anyway, this one is pretty self-explanatory, so I'll leave it to my friends here to give me feedback! Thanks!!!

it would be cool to have a gravedigger by it for sure, have an arm and leg hanging off the side. Cool idea for use of wagon wheels!

Aww man that is awesome! Reminds me of that scene in Monty Python's Holy Grail......"Bring out your dead!"....
"By the pricking of my thumb....something wicked this way comes"
"The tragedy of life is not death....the tragedy of life is not living"

That's a really creative prop! The bones nestled in the hay are creepy in their own right. Did you plan to add anything to it (e.g. someone pushing it?) or just have it sitting on it's own? Even as a stand alone prop, it is very effective. Put some subtle lighting on it and it's going to be really spooky. I really like this!!
Americans sleep peacefully in their beds at night because rough men stand ready to do violence on their behalf.

Thank you everyone!!! This was about 3-4 hours work today. It consists of 2 wagon wheels, five 6-foot fence pickets, some 1X2s, one Walgreens skelly, one bag-of bones, one Walgreens skull, burlap, dollar-store spooky fabric (why pay $5 elsewhere?), rope, hay, twine, and lots of wood-screws. My 6-year old daughter hit her thumb with a tack-hammer during the process, and I told her that's the mark of a true carpenter (which made it all better).
I love the idea of putting a gravedigger or some other-worldly creature behind the cart. Here's another pic that shows a little more detail:

Excellent prop. I'd thought of doing a wooden wheel barrow like this. Single wheel and dirt piled inside. This looks even better, the hay and bones are great. Awesome job.

I like it. I agree, with lighting on it at night it will look really spooky.

There are other holidays besides Halloween? When did they start that?
