Chavuet h1300 is a pretty good machine for well under 200 bucks. (I grabbed a new one on ebay for ~$120) It has a timer, along with a constant setting that pushes out fog consistently without any pause. I have both the 1100 and 1300, plus an old school eliminator 700. The Chavuets put out significantly more.

You may want to check out local theatrical supply companies or professional lighting/staging companies. Many lighting companies operate rental businesses as well as sales. They work mostly with theatres, etc... but anyone can usually start an account. You can rent a professional grade fogger for much less than the cost of buying one that won't work half as well. If you only plan on using it once or twice a year this may be the better option.

I do. The Chauvet 1800 Hurricane Flex?

Just bought one for this season and it worked awesome. Fogged out the neighbors, the street, you name it. I love the thing.

    I paid $230, shipped.

Have to agree with Redsand187. Bought the Chauvet 1300 new this year and it was awesome. Seems well built. No problems with the remote or the timer. Nice blue-lighted tank level indicator.

I own both the 1300 and 1800 and I had issues with my 1300 but the 1800 works great. I think the 1300 is just an error on my part though.

Based on many reviews I've seen, I have my sights set on the Chauvet 1800 Hurricane Flex. Five dollars is being set aside every week from now until next Halloween . As I've said in other posts, next year's goal is fog - dense, thick, low, fog.

i have an old vei v-919, my first fogger. still works gr8

this year i also picked up a 1000 watt fogger from walmart ($60)

the small vei produces better fog than the larger machine

have a whole bunch of cheap foggers from after halloween sales as well

had a chauvet 2-3 years ago ... it died on me after 1 season :-(

i recommend the vei machines, but for $60 the cheap 1000 watt is hard to beat

    amk
