I had this idea for next year, to add a trampoline to our haunt . I figure I can wall it in and make it a room people walk into with an actor in a clown suit bouncing around knocking people down and making them stumble. They can't fall off the trampoline..I may even nix the actor and just have the floor effect. Anyone else tried something similar ?

Sounds sketchy to me. I'm sure other members will say so too. If people get hurt, or little kids... there's lots of variables to consider.

The entire thing will be walled in, kids..we really only do 13 and up most are all adults. They already run through here bumping their heads , falling over each other, ect..we warn them of course. " Enter at you own risk " is more a motto than a warning around here..lol Of course nothing will cause death or serious injury..we test everything.

True and I appreciate that !

We strive to make things as safe as possible..customers in a haunt are a lot like cattle though..you have to tell them where to go, sometimes even push or prod them..they need leading. Sometimes they do wonder off though. We need bells on them. lol

I was hoping some members may have already tried it or something similar and could tell how it well it worked it. We do some similar things already..ball pits, moving floors, the tilt of the vortex tunnel, things of that nature..this would just be an extension of that I think.

Oh, okay. I don't think I understood the level of quality and professionalism of the haunt you put on. Considering the rest of the obstacles you put on, trampolines, as you said will only add to the whole attraction.

I would never risk it. Even family can sue.

When I worked at spookyworld they had a room that had latex walls where faces where pushed on it so they would come threw. The floor was a trampoline. It was pretty
freaky. If I can remember it was only about 9 foot long max.

the weight limit is not very high on trampolines and with someone else in there good chance i would think to exceed it plus mighty ackward having to have people take off their shoes to go through one room . liability is a huge concern to me. not a great idea but definatly and intersting one
