I have finally finished my "Ground Breaker Casket with Skelly" and I think it has turned out ok. I have attached pic's plus a video at the end I hope it turns out.I built the casket from an old fence which had been tossed out and built a platform for a base for the motor.
I then attached the arm from the motor to the casket having to make adjustments along the way so the arm would spin freely and not get caught on the casket bottom or bind at he top as it moved.
I put black cloth in front of the arm and motor using staples on the wall and the front door making sure it would not get caught up on the arm as it rotated around. I checked this multiple time just to make sure.
I then attatched the arms, one to the front of the casket using a two inch screw and the other to the side also using a screw. The head was attached to the cloth using three one inch screws and a piece of hard plastic strapping cut 7 inches long that held the skull in place. The skull is made of foam with a hard exterior coating. Several adjustments were made to make sure the head would fit inside the casket as the arm closed the door shut. Here is the final, as they say cut. Let me know if there is more I can say or do. Thanks.

The video is set to private, so we cannot comment on it. The blank screen is nice however.

What if it was slowed down a bit? I think it would a bit more creep factor to it, but I do like it.

This will sit next to the driveway as people walk up. I know it seems quick but I want it to catch everyones eye as they come up, and again it will look better at night with the light on it. I will test it once I can get outside and it stops raining down here.

the only other improvements that I would make given the time is to corpse the head and hands a bit, trim the edges from the fence pickets so they don't look like fence pickets, and maybe run it off a motion detector for additional "startle" effect.
Very nicely done prop!!

Great job Deadview. Thanks for sharing. A little corpsing and led eyes would put it way over the top. Thanks again for sharing.
My most stimulating conversations have been with dead things.
