Check this out. I modified it for my friend Larry.
View My Video
Was a simple conversion. Added a longer zipper. (just pulled apart the seam of the old zipper)
A few gromets to see out of.
Electrical conversion was even easier.
Remove power supply (theres a threaded union)
connect to 18volt dewalt drill battery.
I'm gonna use a couple crimp on female connectors. I'll crimp them to the wire and just slip the female connects over the dewalt battery terminals for a more secure fit.
It did blow the lights (we were gonna remove them anyhoo)
Approx 55min per battery (i have 2 and a quick charger)
The wire can then be slipped inside through the fan opening to allow total freedom to rome.
Not bad for 2 hours work.

Forgot to mention. Attaching the 12 volt 800ma fan to an 18amp battery did speed up the fan. It fills much quicker and stays nicely inflated, even with the gromet and much larger zipper allowing a fair amount of air to leak out. The air passing through the fan is a little louder, but I wouldn't say its loud. (ya hardly hear it)

Is that safe? Is there an emergency escape? It is funny as heck looking with him inside there. GREAT IDEA if it is safe.
