I found another use for the duct tape of prop makers - Great Stuff foam. The biggest gripe I had about our Creeper figure last year was the mask we were using didn't have much of a neck, and I thought the head sat too low to the shoulders. So this year, I decided to make a neck for him so I can raise the head about 1.5 inches. I took a 3" wide strip of 1/8" neoprane foam leftover from my Creature project, and glued it to the inside of the mask with contact cement. It looked okay, but you could see there was a border between the mask and the neck even after I painted it.

I still had about half a can of Great Stuff left over from the Creature. I cleaned out the tube, and tried just pressing on the trigger enough to get some foam started up the tube. Once it started oozing out, I touched it down on a box and drew a thin line with it to see if I could draw a long, thin, line. Having done that, I squeezed the trigger a little bit again, and this time started drawing lines along the boarder of the neck and mask, and branching them out like veins. I let the foam harden and painted the neck again and voila! You can't tell the mask and neck aren't one piece and the neck has bulging veins on it.
