    browsing youtube and I think this prop would be PERFECT for my haunted carnival.

    i sent a message to the video owner on how it was done but just in case he doesn't get back to me, can someone explain how this was done?

    prop is shown at 4 min 5 sec. (even though I deep linked it didnt work... so try this if you don't want to wait..

    perfect use of the bottomless pit effect for a carnival theme.
    I could use this the main opening of the clown mouth to make it look like it goes on forever! MUST DO IT!!!!

    let me know.

    Two way mirror in front, regular mirror in back. Front glass (2-way) has mirror side facing in toward the back. You can also use a reflective window film instead of 2-way mirror.
    Good luck.

    That's what I did for mine - reflective window film on both plexiglass. Light inside makes it reflective... Check it out at here:

    That is great. I always wanted to create a prop like that but I thought that it would be too expensive.

    So, it was actually very cheap for me... probably around $35. Just found some old wood. The kiddos loved it last year - "Whoa! How did you guys do that?"... "Well, we just dug a hole that deep."

    totally love it.. great execution. I want my entire yard filled with those. hahaha.

    ok. i might have to figure out a way to do that with my clown facade.
    granted we won't be able to use the front door.. but who cares. haha.

    Meh - who needs a front door anyway? These pits are pretty rad - even better in real life!

    I had seen one, don't remember if it was here or on another site. But, anyway it was a grave with a full size skelly that went on forever. Any ideas on how to do this? Thinking of a crypt door maybe.

    FYI it works best in the dark with it lighter in the pit!
