I have a small water pump that looks pretty similar to this:

It is used for a small water fountain. I was thinking I could turn it into a prop- enhancement, perhaps take my $30 Walgreens skelly, some red food dye, and have a steady flow of blood out of his mouth. Gravity feed that into a receptacle, and just have him going all night. My props are all outdoor, front yard stuff.

Thought this would be a good thing to ask your creative minds -any suggestions for other possible things to do with this pump?

    thanks!

I used two of them to pump blood to the top of a coffin and run down the face. Worked nice and people live it. I had to use two pumps to get the head pressure right. You could also make a table top skull fountain. Someone made one last year on this forum.

I built the zombie fountain from the How to Haunt your House (1 or 2). It runs really well and is an easy gag. I actually had to turn it down since the pump was spraying the water into the zombie's mouth.

Last year we built a mad scientists lab for our haunted house. We used 2 pumps like you put in a garden fountain. One we ran some red fluid through clear tubing and just circled it around the room. The other we rigged an operating table. A player was laying on the table, expanda foam to make him look like he was cut open. He was a 7 year old boy so not a large framed person. The second pump was pumping fake blood out of his "body" onto the table and down onto the floor. Use pond liner or heavy plastic to catch the fluid and return it to the container to pump back up.
We also found a valve that went in the tubing at the pump to slow the flow. Any extra pressure was released back into the reservoir at the submerged pump.

Water pumps + Headless child body + kids tryke . OMG what a head rush yes to those that guessed it headless child shoots water no Coloring please on to people at night . Remember short burst only like the heart is still pumping.
Some have even made a plywood platform with motor under to turn the front wheel of the tryke as added scare.
