Just wanted to post some closeups to show the really stone-like details of the most recent tombstone. I just finished the paint with some drybrushing last night. I have to thank Terra and her awesome tutorial on painting tombstones.

Beautiful! They look centuries old! Really admire your attention to detail!
Americans sleep peacefully in their beds at night because rough men stand ready to do violence on their behalf.

great job what are the cherubs & skulls made out of?

The skulls where both taken from plastic skull heads that I just removed the bottom jaws, and cut the faces off of with a hot wire cutter. The horns on the lower skull, I made out of Styrofoam. The upper, open mouth ghost looking face on the cross was a Styrofoam head I cut the face from. The cherubs are a lightweight plaster I casted in some molds I found at Michaels. I was lucky to find the molds to make both a left and a right one.
