Sorry didn't explain my self well. I want a surgeons table where the actor lies down flat, but their body half in the table with a fake torso so it can be operated on.Name: body.jpg

What is the problem you are having? I can think of a few different ways to build one off the top of my head, it just depends on your skill level.

Probably the most straight forward way would be to make a table, with a full size "shelf" underneath it. Cut a whole in the top to the dimension of your actors torso, their legs and head rest on the top of the table, and their body rests on the shelf through the cut out. You could probably accomplish the same thing by cutting a whole in a table, and finding a smaller table to put under to sit underneath it. That would be easier to store if the two tables had folding legs.

It looks like you have the right idea. Just use lots of screws to hold it together. Also, you can get paint that looks like stainless steel, use that allong with a smooth board for the top. What part do you need advice on?
