Im about to finish up a circut that will control a vent motor on a time delay and that is activated by motion. will only be 2" x 3" x 1" board. im wondering if anyone would be interested in purchasing control board. will be rated at 12V. would like to have comments and if you would be interested. dont' know cost yet will have to do a price estimate once i have a working setup. will post once done and working correctly.

It's hard to say yes or no. It all depends on the cost and whether or not I can use another simple controller. You should post back when you have some more details.

What Jack said, not enough info. Can you give us an idea of the functionality?

Sounds pretty good if the price is right. Would also be nice to have a adjustable delay between trips.

12v vent motor time delay controller with Motion activation

There are two operations from one relay

    1. Motor constantly on until motion sensor shuts off
    2. Motor off until activated by motion sensor

    Time delay

    1. Can go for a short period of time or longer. set time depending on what you would like to have

    Motion sensor

    1. will have possibility to be remotely placed from control unit.
    2. Can be bought separately to us in place of a sound activator. $25.00

    Description of item

Estimate size of control box 2” x 3” X 1”. Motion sensor will have to wide area of activation this can be minimized by putting sensor behind a hole to narrow field of view.

Working on a delay so that motor will not be tripped every time there is motion. Will be variable from 3sec to 1 min im estimating.

Estimate cost per one $40.00 plus shipping

    Suggestion.

Have solenoid relays so any voltage can be used. Need 120VAC? Plug in 120VAC on one side as the power supply, and plug in 120VAC props on other side. Need 12VDC? Same scenario.

I built project cycle boxes for my company last summer. I had the relays handling 250VAC 15A which could obviously be scaled down in size capacity and PRICE, so that whatever they needed cycled on and off, the relay timer box just powered the solenoid on and off so whatever voltage was running through it was isolated from the rest of the box.
