Well, we had our annual Haunt at a local state park last weekend. I couldn’t be happier with how our cemetery scene turned out. I added two more lights to my thunder and lightning gig this year that really paid off. I put two of the 500 watt lights about 15’ up in a tree in the middle of the cemetery. I set the sensitivity low so it would take a good thunder sound to trigger them. They really lit up the graveyard nicely with the eerie lightning strike. Several of us were also dressed up mingling with the crowd. It was a banner year. We gave out over 1000 (yes 1000) pieces of candy. Our walk through was probably about 300’ total and it was full two solid hours with the line going down the road. Below are a few picks during setup. Of course I didn’t take any during the TOT time but I know a few folks from our gang did. As soon as I get some I will post. There also is a pic of our pom, Max, with his costume on. He sure looks excited.

Okay, now I know what to do with my dog for Halloween! Except he might need one of the full size skeletons...
And I echo the congrats on your success, especially so early in the season.

Thanks everyone! We really like the early haunt. You kinda get to enjoy the whole month of October for Halloween instead of just setting up once. It is a little work but well worth it!

Congrats ! Glad to hear that everything went well.
The dog is cute as heck. : )
We are doing our first "real" haunt at the school this year, charging a small admission the goes into an account to fund future haunts, I hope ours goes as well. : )

Wow, I bet that lightning effect was awesome in such a wooded area. Really like the set up and can't wait to see the night time pics they always look so eerie in the dark. Did you make your cemetery sign and coffin too? They are outstanding. This is lil ghouliette's and my first year on Halloween forum and we learned how to do so much here and got so many good ideas on how to display stuff from people like you who have done such successful haunts. Thanks and Congrats on the fantastic turn out.

Thanks Gouliet! Yes, everything you see in the pics I made. Its taken 5 years to get to this point. The coffin is a fog chiller. The link below is what I posted on it last year. It has since been updated with 2 1000 watt foggers. I had 70 lbs of ice in it last weekend.
