I made several LED spot lights using a post from the projects page here. Easy LED pin spots. I plan to use them to light my scarecrow from the bottom up. My concern is the weather (rain) I soldiered my connections and used electrical tape to cover them. I may go back and use heat shrink to protect the connections, but should I be concerned about the LED themselves?
thanks in advance for any suggestions

I would also like to know the answer to this question. I was thinking of using hot glue to waterproof any open connections.

the LED themselves are already encased in plastic, you just need to protect the electrical connections.
