I have one of those 50 foot spiderwebs that I will be putting on my roof. Last year it was low to the ground &I used a couple 4 foot tube black lights that I took in every night. With the web on the roof I'm looking for
good bright black lights that are weather proof that I can leave on the roof instead of dragging out a ladder to take the lights in every night. Anyone know of any good ones? I found these....think they will be strong and bright enough? I'm clueless when it comes to this stuff. Any help is appreciated.

I do the web myself and have a uv cannon. they work well! but here are some things to think about. 1. they get HOT! so placement and safety are a big concern. 2. aiming a directional UV light is very tricky. I use mine on the ground aiming up at the web because this thing shinning in your eyes is no fun at all! I built a box to shroud it from view on all sides but right in front of the web. Which brings me to 3. weatherproof is relative. If my cannon was on for 3 hours then a big rain storm came, I worry about the lens exploding when the water hit it. Another reason for the shroud. I leave mine outside all month long with this set up but still turn it off if it rains. Hope that helps

Thanks for all the info robzilla69. I really appreciate it. Do you happen to know which one you have or where you got yours?
