I'm on a tight budget this year for buying props. So, I've grown more appreciative of making my own props form extra items I have left over here and there.

I made this ground breaker form stuff I got from the Dollar Tree or 99 Cent Only Store (skeleton hands, skull, freaky fabric, etc.). The other items like PVC pipe, paint, and chicken wire I had around the house. The total cost for materials was probably under $8.

He still needs some work and touch up, but I am happy with how he turned out considering it was my first time making a ground breaker from scratch.

Looks great! And you can't beat the price!
That creepy cloth really adds a lot to it.

Good idea. I too am also on a tight, bordering on strangling budget, will use your setup for my props. Thanks.

Great idea for those alien skulls. The creepy cloth really helps it.

    Thanks for your comments, everyone.

Here he is completed with a large tombstone from Wlagreens for size reference.... wires and arms positioned, with more black cover to hide the PVC from the front, and creepy cloth better positioned and affixed to the prop so it doesn't blow off.
