Thread: Bloody Mary mirror from spirit question about triggering it

Does anyone have the new Bloody Mary mirror from spirit. And if so, could you let me know when you plug it into an electrical outlet does it go through it's cycle. The reason I am asking is that I want to use a wirless remote control system that you just plug the receiver into a standard house electrical outlet. Then plug the item you want to turn on & off, Bloody Mary mirror, into the receiver. I know that the Bloody Mary mirror works with sound and motion. But if it's in a dark lit area it may not get tripped by motion. And if there is no sound when someone pass by, same thing, it may not get tripped. I really dont want to rewire the unit if at all possible. So I was looking for the easy way. It may have a switch on the unit you need to turn on first then plug the unit in. But maybe test it a few times by plugging it in to see what happens. Then unplug it and try it again.
