Thread: I need ideas, Crematorium or Crypt ?

Here's the thing today I removed the fake fireplace and mantel. It came out whole so I was wanted to know should I do a crypt or a Crematorium?

I don't want to offend anyone with the Crematorium.


so here is the pic what you think might be a good idea.

I'd do crypt. Add a fake door with a handle in the middle, use foam board to make a last name in the wooden space above the door, add architectural details, paint all with dry loc, and stain as you would a tombstone. Did you consider keeping it as a fireplace- cover all with foam board made to look like stone, dry loc and stain, add a cauldron on a hook over fake burning coals? If you decorate inside, just put it back in place for haunting. For outside, make a witch's hut out of old pallets, place fireplace inside with cauldron and coals, and decorate the mantle with candles, books, bottles, etc.

I'm thinking crypt too. Just wanted to hear others ideas. My brain decided to take a vacation.lol I have 2 lanterns I will add. and a few dollar store skulls/skeletons and a
few other things.

I do have extra wood that I will make the door out of.

Crypt. Faster easier and more versatile.
