So i've been trying to finish my control box and now i'm got it all buttoned up but one last part, the triggers.

I've got the new DMXorcist installed and have done the following.

First i tried it in Windows 7 Pro 64 bit, downloaded x64_1_3_3_2 and tried to get it working. It installed fine and the program opened. It would let me enter the device serial and detect the board was ok, but when setting the ports to my Enttec Open DMX it would never initiate.

So i switched to my XP box. Installed 1_3_3_4 on there. Board registers fine, and Enttec Open DMX Port works on the XP box. But when i go to arm the system it won't arm and just keeps an hour glass on the screen. I keep all functionality but i can never arm input 1 to test the board.

Anyone have ideas on what I've screwed up?

Also I am using VSA v5.001 just though about that, could it not be arming becuase it can't read the 5.001 files?

There are a number of new features this year that could be causing issues, VSA 5 and x64 are just two of them.

The first thing you need to do is check the system works without the VSA file, so with a completely blank profile arm the system and check the check boxes at the foot of the screen respond to inputs on the board.

Next send me your VSA file, its quite likely that the VSA parser has a problem, VSA parser problems are fairly common especial when there is a new version of VSA involved, and I don't think I've tested a VSA 5.001 file yet
