    Hi All,
Today I started on a set of columns to go with my grave yard. The will hold Gargoyles. I built them from 2x2's and 1/4" ply. Toppers are made from 2x3 and 3/4"ply.
They stand 6 feet tall and are 16" wide. I was able to cut the ply to get a full column from each sheet.
If all goes well with the painting, I will move onto some lighting effects for them.
I have thought of so many uses of them already, I left a 2' x 16" piece off for now as an access panel and figure on putting my fog machines or power strips inside the base. Also thought of building another and leaving one whole side off, covering it with black cheese cloth and being able to stand inside it to pop out or grab a tot as they pass.
    Happy Haunting.
I will post more pics as I paint them, and place them with my fencing.

Those are going to be very nice! Looking forward to the finished product. I picked up those same gargoyles this year from Target! Those will look great!

They are coming along very nicely! I suggest you add a "Hatch" to the bottom of the columns so you might add steel weights or stones to make them more stable. I learned that the hard way.

Everyone takes a turn inthe box.....
