    after some fluorescent/neon green paint & black light

    looks better in real life

    do not hesitate dropping by your local dollar stores. got a bunch of good stuff from various dollar stores, although they all have very similar stuff to each other

    I have that same door knocker. Love what you did with it. Thanks for the inspiration.

    BTW I get the neon green paint on the head and that the unfinished shadow area turned purple in your pic from the black light. Wondering what you did with the eyes and teeth though?

    here are the paints that i used



    the green came from walmart and the pink from micheals

    the purple is from the black light

    notice that my brush is kind of "beat-up" looking. this is ideal, because what you do is dab the paint on the parts you want to highlight under black light. i used a fine brush for the eyes & fangs

    still haven't decided what to do with the hair or how i'm going to use them (i have 4 of these, 4 skulls & 4 skulls with one eye

    I use one of these as a mold..filled the holes and undercuts with clay and poured some plaster into it, then turned out a nice heavy copy and gave it slick paintjob..worked great.

    You glow paint-up is really cool!

    thx everyone for the gr8 comments

    its really amazing what you can do with black lights

    load up on fluorescent/neon and glow in the dark paints, everyone, lol!

    all of the stuff in the yard & porch is painted and modified in some way to make it look, well ... better. customized
