We mounted one of our 3 axis skulls on a Wallgreens skelly too so I was curious how you attached it. We used an 8" lenghth of 1/2" PVC with a 1/4 20 threaded rod inside of it. At each end of the PVC there is a washer and a nut that holds the rod tightly inside. On one end we leave about an 1 1/2" of the rod sticking out. Then we cut the skelly neck off just above the shoulder. The PVC with the rod in it then fits inside of the skelly's spine. A couple of screws are then put through the spine and into the PVC to hold it in tightly in position. Then the 3 axis skull is attached to the rod using a coupler with a nut on each side so we can lock it into position. The neck piece that was cut off then can be cut on the back along the length to enable you to spread it open to put it around the rod and hide the nuts and bolts.
