Just finished the head and body for my La Llorona (the crying lady) prop. this is static at the moment but im going to use the FCG rig to move her arms. i was going to make the Madame Leota crystal ball but i figured that this would be way cooler . this weekend im going to film my wife's face and have mascara running down to look as if shes crying and project that on the foam head. for thous of you that do not know the story of La Llorona here is a link http://www.theoutlaws.com/ghosts3.htm. hopefully this Tuesday ill have my mausoleum up and have her in it(crossing fingers). I'll post pics when all finished.

I saw the thread title, and said "awesome" at the concept.

I'll now add AMAZING at the follow through.

yes its a projection and yes that was one of my main concerns. i'm staking a pole to the ground and using a T pvc pipe fitting and mounting the other to the wall of the Mausoleum. this should eliminate the forward pull of the FCG rig. we just finished putting the Mausoleum up and now we're testing how far the camera need needs to be to film my wife's face in order for it to fit on the foam head. by the looks of the test we did its going to look awesome! thinking of using my low laying fog machine to fill the bottom of the Mausoleum to give her more of a floating effect.
