I didn't take this, so you'd need to refer any questions to the Video Author on the channel.
Absolutely AMAZING stuff!
At 6:50 is my FAVORITE prop, this GIANT mass of dead parts. I only wish I could know better what "it" is saying. I believe it is made by The ScareFactory.
Here is a link, it's called the Necromancer!
Here's a better video:
I'm assuming this is held in Vegas or something?
I had NO idea they just made stuff like this! I think I see my dream job...what engineering degrees do you need for it?

That's my video
It's in St. Louis. The giant is speaking in Latin.

I'm so grateful you are sharing this on YouTube! I had no idea there were conventions like this, and no idea there were props out there for the price of a sedan.
I thought it sounded like Latin, I might try and translate it if I weren't so rusty. St. Louis is out of my range, but definitely would be awesome to one day experience it.
Very impressed by your YouTube Channel as well, I've been watching it non-stop and am VERY impressed by the tombstones, and hope to try some of your techniques.
Also, sorry to repost this thread, I didn't take a look first to see if you had something up already. I should have known many of you already know about this. :P

Oh that's okay. Threads get easily buried with time. Transworld is a lot of fun and if you ever make it out that way, bring lot's of money. There's no amount of willpower to help resist buying everything in sight

What state are you in, deadboy? There are a few other conventions out there. Another great part of them is that they usually do off-season tours of some of the big local haunts.
As far as what you need to work at a place that makes these props, creativity and a strong work ethic look like the best skills. Welding, sculpting and painting skills would be handy. If you wanted to run it as your own business, answering the phone seems to be the one thing most customers are looking for. Many of these places take on so many orders and get so far behind that they stop answering the phone during the summer. And that scares the people who paid them $10,000 up front for the props.

What is the name of the company that makes the huge puppet things at 4:15?
