I'm trying to figure out how to attach a latex prop (in this case an attack dog from fright props) to a pneumatic cylinder. The cylinder bore is 7/8 or 1" cant remember - with a 9" stroke. The dog is pretty much just the upper torso.

    Any Ideas?

I give a holler to Fright Props first. They are great people over there and I'm sure they'd help you out.
