A friend of mine who has a home haunt that she runs for charity needed a sign with her haunt's rules. She wanted something simply stated so that people might actually READ them. Since my friend seemed somewhat dubious on how to go about working with foam, I decided to give it a whirl and this is what I came up with.......

Nice sign! The type is clear and easy to read and I like the embellishments. The cracked stone also adds a nice touch.

Really nice job! How did you do the spider and web, small props? What type of foam did you use.
I think your sign will serve her nicely. If it is for charity, do not forget your time and supplies for a deduction.
    Every cent counts these days.

Thanks very much Smiter! The embellishments were actually just tombstones I got from Dollar Tree. I picked out two that I thought I could use and I cut out the sections I wanted with a box cutter. Cheap and easy! The foam is just a piece of 1.5 inch beaded foam (polystyrene) that I got from Home Depot for less than 5 dollars. I think the beaded foam works just fine if you don't need to carve a lot of detail...it's kind of hard to tell from the pic but I actually used a small butane torch that I also got from Home Depot to add "age spots"...All you need to do is wet down the foam and let the mini butane torch do all the work.
