We are doing our third annual haunt this year and want to have a snake jump out and also have our props move. We have done research and saw that you cna use a wiper blade motor. The only thing is wiper blade motors are expensive and you have to go to junkyard and take them out ourselves. IF you can use anything else please advise .

    thanks

Home Haunters have had success using old oscillating fans as a cheap way of giving a prop motion. But you MUST remember to give it access to air so it will not burn out and don't expect it to move anything too heavy. Example; to move a paper mache or Styrofoam head from side to side...OK. To move a heavy mannequin head....No not so much!

    Hope this helps.

I'm adding animation to two of my props this year using Christmas Reindeer motors. They work great!
