I want to add some bloody and maybe some "dirty" handprints to my house walls(interior) for my Halloween party but I am not sure the best route for this? It needs to be removable and not stain the white paint on the walls, but look good on the wall.
I tried looking for stick-on versions at the Halloween sections of local stores, but I can't find what I'm looking for. I found stick-on bloody skeleton hands, and I bought what I thought was stick-on handprints but it turned out it was a static cling so it will only stick to glass...
I know there are gel clings that look like bloody handprints but I have heard that those stain really badly.
I've seen a few bloody wall decals but they're all really expensive, and I want a bunch all over the walls... The best I could find is this, but it's expensive:

RainX or TurtleWax your walls, then put blood red hand prints in latex paint. Wax won't let dye get to the painted walls.

16 for $25 isn't actually that bad a deal. You would want exhibition vinyl for non-staining removable:
Oracal 631 Exhibition Grade Dark Red $15.60

And then you would still need the image and a vinyl cutter to cut it out. If I had this I'd make you some but all I have in removable is white and black, and only bright red in permanent. I could stick the permanent to Contact paper but it's really too bright.

I know if you want to go with the stage blood route dappercadaver.com sells some that actually browns a little in much the same way as real blood does. it cleans of fairly easy too. i used it on the walls in the garage with no real staining
