I hope this helps anyone considering buying this prop. I got a good one the second time around. That is unless you all tell me yours triggers easily from sound! But she works, so I'll take it! Enjoy.

..."She is a hungry girl." Lol! She's so creepy - very thorough video, thanks for taking the time to review this. Lots of good information!

A very good review, thanks! If I may ask, what did she cost you with S&H and does she come with any warranty?

I'm happy to say that with a 20% coupon [WeAreBack] the total was 135 bucks. That's like getting free shipping, no tax, and the total being five bucks less than list online. That's a great deal, imo. Spirit has a return policy. Read all about it at their site. It also seems that another review of rosemary at spirit confirms that the sound activation is not good. I sent an email to tekky asking them what the deal is because there are four problems when it comes to activation with this one

    - Spirit catalog says sound AND motion activated. It does not have motion sensing.
    - Spirit online says nothing in the description
    - The directions say nothing
    - Tekky online says nothing and makes no mention in their setup vid

When I get an answer, I'll let you know. But I can confirm- get a foot pad or try me button. You'll need it. The way I'm gonna deal with this is the foot pad placed under the hand of another nearby tekky prop- the thrashing zombie. His movement will trigger the pad for rosemary. When there's a will there's a way. Like demonica last year, this one needs some attention next year for a triggering fix. Anyone who has her already, it would be cool to try her and let us know if you experience the same issue.

    And thanks for watching!

Tekky confirms this prop is only sound activated- not motion activated.

If someone else would see if theirs is or isn't easily activated by sound, that would be great.

Have to say awesome review, but it reinforces why I do not buy from "Spririt". Cheaply made product at a high price. I will have to say that it is nice to go into a "Spirit" store and get ideas for making your own props.

Hey halloween71 tell you what I will make one this next year using aluminum with motors and a controller. I will not go with the gore, I have some pirate ideas. It will be much better made and built to last for the same price or cheaper.

You have to have the will to make your own for sure. I'm not thrilled rolling the dice on these things. I have mostly good, working tekkys. But I sourced what it would cost to make animated props and it's not cheap by any means- as much or usually more than anything you could buy. And then you have to design the thing to break down for storage. I have enough problems with storage, so I couldn't afford space for my well made amazing prop that by the way, can't break down to fit in a box for storage. And then there's the know-how too. All too much for me. Don't have the time or inclination to do it. Maybe static props, but not automated ones.

There really should be a sub forum in the prop forum. One for home made, one for retail props. It might help some I think.
