The Dry Lok itself acts as a sealant/waterproofer. You won't need anything else.

If you are using latex paints, maybe you would want to seal them with a clearcoat. But all enamel spray paints should be fine in the weather.
Problem with sealing them, is the color gets affected by the sealer. So if you are worried about the weather, then do all your painting with exterior grade paints.

Dry-Loc should be sufficient? But, if you want to make sure just coat it with a polyerurythane.

Dryloc has worked for me for years with no problems on my foam tombstones. Even my exterior latex painted props are doing fine on my paper mache props. With my wood painted props it gets tougher as moisture will eventually get inside and warp the wood, plywood is the toughest to keep weatherproof and looking good.

Regardless, i always slap a nice thick coat of Varathane or any other polyurethane on my tombstones just to be safe. Don't forget, basically, it's a plastic coating......can't go wrong..........

Thanks, everyone. I didn't do the final "tea staining" with an exterior paint, so it appears that a poly coat is a good idea. I got excited at the end and just used what was on hand to finish up (acrylic), so looks like one more trip to Lowes. Live and learn...

Try to find a can of spray on clearcoat (paint or poly) in a flat or matte finish. Tombstones shouldn't be glossy.
