I have the first coat of paint on my devil head and hands. I am still working on his horns but they will be very long and curl down. I plan on attaching his head to the ceiling above my front door and the hands coming out of the sides of the sky lights on the sides of the front door kinda like he is materializing from within the house. What should I do with his face? Just cut out eyes and have eerie glowing eyes and the other features not there or do a nose and mouth? I keep changeing my mind so please save me from myself...The fingers will have long black nails on them. I added a couple with tape so you could get an idea of what it will look like.I have alot of paint details left to do...so any ideas on that would be great too...I think I am going to put a black hood on him and maybe a tail coming out of the door too. This is pretty much my first almost finished project ever..I have about 10 in various phases.

Once paint start getting laid down the fun really begins, right? Does for me anyway.

IMO.... I love things to be lit up so putting some lights in for the eyes would rule. That said, it's kind of a pain in the arse dealing with all of the wiring and what not. Just painting some eyes on them might work just as well if you have lights on your porch. Do you have any red bulbs or something for your porch light? If you could light up the porch red, it might be easier just painting the eyes something wicked. Effective too!

Thanks GT. I like lights too. So I will prob just suffer thru the pain and do it..lol..What about a nose and mouth or just the eyes?? Oh and BTW I did finally gut the turkey..lol

It's kind of difficult for me to tell what angle his head will be, but yeah, probably needs a mouth and a nose.

When my lazy a** sons get up I will put him up where he will be residing and post another pic..how is your new project coming along??

We're jumping on a plane tomorrow and flying away for two weeks so we don't have anything major going on. The only thing we really have left to do is create some witch jars and that should only take a few evenings when we get back.

I think you should do the nails in yellow.In the dark the black would not be seen don't you think ??
