If i had to rate him out of 5 stars he would get a 2.5 I bought him saturday and returned him yesterday because the sound did not work properly and there are better props for ure money. The pros are he is a big guy and i like that he stands out. He is also easy to put together. Besides that i dont see anything else besides he has a creepy factor to him. The first con is that the sound turns on randomly(atleast for mine) and its unpredictable. Second, his movement is pretty next to nothing. Third, once you put him together, thats where hes gunna stay, hes not easily mobile. last, he isnt a verry durable prop, his clothes and frame is pretty flimsy. So overall hes a creepy fellow, but you can find better for your money.
I got my floor model Uncle Charlie last year, after Halloween for $30. I tend to disagree, the frame is metal and quite strong, there are no plastic frame parts. I don't see an issue with any of the armature breaking.
The head movement is OK. Since it was a floor model, I needed to do a bit of soldering to fix the sound connections, which now works flawlessly.
The body needs a bit of padding in places, nothing bunched up plastic bags can't fix.
What attracted me to him (besides the price) is that he has amazing detail to his face and hands, he really looks evil.
The odd thing is the head movement works on a DC motor, but he sound is AAA batteries. I would have preferred that the prop be all one or the other.
Last year I picked up the Night Digger (made by the same company and made the same way, materials, etc...) and I am impressed with it. I do agree that it is hard to move once you set it up, but I do reccommend it for the detail and creepy effect it casts on a display:
