I dont know if you had any luck with this yet but I gotta tell you I really do not think you will get much luck of you would try to contact gemmy to order any parts... I hate that company and will not buy anything from them ever again!! I spent about $700.00 on these hi-tech xmas lights that does light clr changing shows, etc. The entire house! Long story short... I used them for about a month. I take good care of taking them down etc. The next year over half of the light strings have issues!! SOme bulbs flicker, other strings half does not light up and so on... Either way I now cannot use them because it takes all of them around the house to give it the dancing effect I did with them. I have a youtube video of news footage of them if you want I can send you the link... Anyways.... Went to their web site and sent an email. (was upset but kept that inside of me at the start) by the way.... You can only send an email to them!!! They list no other way to reach them. SO if youi do not use internet too bad so sad... I waited a month to hear back and it was a general reply. They do not have parts, they do not do repairs, you bought it you screwed if it breaks! So I went on their facebook page and started warning everyone about them and what they do. I actually then got a response that they will take back any of the lights that I have receipts for from Home Depo and Lowe's. So now I can only get half my money because I no longer had the receipts for half of them. (why in the hell can they not take them all? it isnt like some knock off ones were made by another company. not to mention there is a show they made in each one. so if they plugged them in they could see the shows were theirs) and the year before I bought them the shows were different. So you can tell by the shows how old the lights actually were.... They did not care... I also bought a 3 sync light show xmas tree set with a speaker... That was another $300.00... That no longer works after only 2 years.... Gemmy has crap products and no customer service!! So I have made it my goal that anytime I see something at the store or online I like and might wanna buy I find out who makes it... If I see Gemmy anywhere near it I move on... They are not ever going to get another dime from me.
So to sum up your issue.....
You can try to email them.... good luck on that. they wont have any parts to buy....
You can look for a used one of the things you had a motor in and buy the entire thing to get the motor... (not an option i am sure)
So the last and best option is to get the info on the motor such as input power and output power (volts, amps) and it will have something about the speed (i cannot recall what it is but i think RPM) Then take it to an electric store where contractors go to buy stuff when they need anything... or a special electronic store (not radio shack)
Now the electric store you could probably just take the motor in and they will know what and look to see if they can match a motor up in their books to the one you need. If you have no luck anywhere and you are really stuck I would be more than happy to take the motor to the stores around here. If I cannot find anything to match it up with then there is nothing out there... LOL! Keep it in mind if you have no luck. I am there all the time at our special stores... (they have older stuff sitting around all the time) GOOD LUCK! Mark

I'm not sure how the head on this prop turns, the range of motion or if it's sync'd with other body movement, but the first thing that came to mind was the possibility of going to a local thrift store and seeing if they had one of those fans that rotates back and forth. That motor may be ok for your purposes, or modifiable for your purposes.

    Failing that, monsterguts.com
