My first, and probably only attempt at dracula's coffin. I didn't realize I made it so tall. Oh well, I always pictures dracula as a pretty tall dude.

I tried to get an ice cream maker motor to open and close the door. It worked, but the gears in it were really noisy so I pulled it apart and broke it. Oops. I guess i'm going to try a wiper motor instead.

Just made my first coffin the other day too. I had the measurements all wrong so hubby had me lay on the bench and built the frame around me. He laughed and said I was trying to make a coffin for a fat giant.

I have to agree that I always pictured Dracula as a tall guy too. Did you use a jigsaw for the bat?
Why can't the front yard be a graveyard all year?

That's kind of risky. You sure he's making that for halloween?
