Thread: Grave Digger from Spirit

In the scouring of the Spirits to find my floor candelabra this year, I saw this guy set up on display at a few of the Spirits, but they were all sold out. With the coupon he was around $100 when I finally found one for sale.

The pictures don't do him justice. He's now standing in my living room. He talks and his mouth moves, his eyes are lit up, his head moves, and he raises his right arm to point off into the distance at things as he talks. In his left hand he has a little lighted lantern that I'll probably replace with something a bit more substantial. His little dialogue is a pretty good length, too, about the haunted cemetery and shallow graves, etc.

Did anyone else get this guy? Compared to a lot of the other animatronics he does an awful lot and for a heck of a lot less that some of the others. I thought the candelabra was going to be my most favorite thing out of Spirit this year, but this guy sort of snuck up on me...

I saw this guy at the spirit around me and boy do I want this. It looks so good in person the video online of him does this prop no justice.

I can't wait for my Spirit to open next Sat.!!!!

Saw this guy also while at our local Spirit, ALMOST bought it but saw The Harvester http://www.spirithalloween.com/produ...the-harvester/ instead and LOVED this guy as it fit my theme this year, might end up getting it but I will see.....

Yeah I got this guy twice! Both times I got him delivered he was broken! I am now waiting on a 3rd shipment from Spirit and this one better work! he is a great prop and i hope he comes working!

How is he activated.

Oh, that Harvester is pretty sweet, too! He'd look great in my pumpkin patch...

The Grave Digger is activated either by sound (He hears you coming!) or you can get the foot pad thinger job from Spirit.

OMG! I've never been a fan of the Spirit and/or Gemmy animated props but these two are just FANTASTIC! I think Spirit's upping the anty cuz they seem to be better quality (looks and movement) than previous offerings... oh to have extra moula around! LOL!
