    Default Headless Horseman – 09-25-2011,07:56 AM


    Finished my headless horseman! 8ft long, over 6ft tall. I mounted it on a base with castors so I could move it around easily. The pumpkin is made of fiberglass and lights up with a flicker bulb. Mannequin torso. Horse is framed up with 2x4's, covered with chicken wire, burlap and monster mud. Eyes are made from Easter eggs.

    What fantastic work! I love any Headless Horseman themed props, and this is one of the best I've seen! Would love to see him lit up at night.

    WOW. That looks really great!
    It's going to be so scary cool when you get it lit up - hope you put some sort of lighting (red??) on it so it highlights it for the TOTs.

    Whoa that is great! What a piece of work.

    I'd love to do a piece like that but don't have the patience. Be sure to post photos of it from Halloween night!
