This is amazing. No one has ever had to figure out a way to attach an arm to a motor.

Well I just had to do this so I will share how with you.

The motor in question has a post this is 9/16” round with a 1/8” hole drilled thru it. It is about 3/8” long. What I did was to find a threaded coupler just a little smaller and drilled it out to slip over the post, than drilled a 1/8 hole in the about the same location as the motor post.

Now it slips over the post and I past a metal rod in the 1/8” hole and now I can attach the arm with the bolt and some lock tight.

So any other ideas out there?

On some of my motors if there is a hole in the middle of the shaft,I run a bolt threw an arm and into the shaft.I have also used U bolts threw the arm and around the shaft. What are you trying to do and do you have photos of the motor shaft and the arm?I maybe able to give you a better Idea.
