I came across a how it's made on YouTube featuring caskets. I thought it may be helpful for others building, or planning to build a more modern casket/coffin.

I've been trying to find plans on making a modern coffin out of foam, with a lid that I would be able to give a fancy lining to for my display this year.
On that note.I was wondering if anyone had any plans, tutorials, or tips for making one? Peas and Carrots? Or should I say Pumpkins and CreepyCloth?

You can do a search for coffin or casket here on HF. There is even a wood one built from plans from Rockler. These could all be used to make one from foam.
I even recall seeing one where someone made a foam coffin into a party cooler.
You could also check the projects page here...

Atelier--Have you thought about using tongue-and-groove fence boards to make a wood casket top? You should be able to lay out the boards using a form made from a cheap garbage can or 55gal drum and then reinforce the interior with 1/4 plywood cross pieces. If you're married to the idea of using foam, you can cut V shaped grooves down the entire length of the inside of your casket top and then bend the iece into a gentle curve that gets held in place by glue and cross pieces.

I have shallow valley's site in my favorites.
I love their projects and the gallery of their haunts. I've been doing a lot of searching in the forums in the tutorials and here in the props section. There's a lot of really great coffins here but I hadn't seen one that was spot on to what I was looking for. But I hadn't thought about adapting plans for a wooden coffin and use foam. That's a great idea, and I'd be able to get that rounded top with foam. Thankies!!!
Problem is teh solved. You Rock!
