Giving this a bump...
Sorry I can't help much, my brain (and more importantly, my husband's brain) is too clogged with useless
information to remember what he did to get our butler's eyes moving again. It was something fairly easy
and fast to fix, like a loose wire.
Hopefully someone on this forum will have a working brain! Good luck - the butler is a great prop, isn't
he?

it is a great prop...please let me know if you rememeber what you did to get the eyes working again...was it in the head part the wire, or in the base part?

I'm curious too. Mine will talk and breathe, but no head or eye movement. I did see it do it once, after trying I was messing with it to figure things out. That made me think it may be a lose wire as well, but... I couldn't get it to duplicate after checking all the connections at the head and the board.

Does anyone have a picture of the butler your refering to? I think I have a similar one, but the eyes on mine don't move and never have. But I did have a problem with his jaw not moving when he talked. I had to fix a gear inside the motor that had snapped in half. I ended up glueing the gear back together and then glueing a small steel washer to one side of the gear for support. I'm not sure this will help??? But good luck.
