I have a red rotating light that I want to turn into a purple rotating light any ideas on how to?

Perhaps lightly painting it with clear blue paint? That or airbrush it lightly with the blue. A guess here but that's what I'd try.

Yea, red and blue =purple. I'd do what Terra said or put some blue gel sheet over it.

snagged a couple bottles of blue stain glass paint. so im going to try that.

can ya just throw a blue xmas lightbulb into it? (not sure what type of bulb your light uses)
