I am need of 2 types: one that repeats the same sounds & one that can play different tracks (both trigger by a T6 controller) connected to amplified computer speakers. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

I'll offer 2 options.
The first I just bought this year but haven't tried them out just yet.

The second is more expensive and I've used them in the past with great success.

Don't know what a T6 is but we just released a new MP3 player that will do both of what you mention below and will provide CD-quality audio. The audio tracks are stored on a microSD card and if you only have one track on the card it will just play that track. If you have more than one track you can use a jumper to determine if it plays the tracks sequentially or random. In both cases you can trigger the track from a 5V-12V signal and if you want to make it play continously you just wire the 5V Out signal to the trigger In connection. It also has an adjustable delay so it will not accept another trigger after the track finishes for a certain period of time. You can get more details here.

Sorry, I still haven't tried it out just yet. Still building stuff and sound gets done last. I purchased on the recommendation of others here.
