I've seen a lot of statues and not sure if they are made or store. Most are in the tombstone and or by themselves.

Check garden centers or the garden departments of places like Kmart, Lowes, Home Depot, etc.. they sometimes have them. Big Lots often carries some but I didn't see anything good this year. A lot depends on what you're looking for. Angels and cherubs seem to be pretty common.

Americans sleep peacefully in their beds at night because rough men stand ready to do violence on their behalf.

Keep an eye open at thrift stores too!
That's where Ghouliet & I got the statue for our twin baby headstone.

The Dollar Tree actually has some neat ones depending on what you want them for.For only $1 it's not a bad deal.

I rely on fellow haunters (one in Arizona in particular) to help me with some of the statue finds as when they are not found here in Washington it seems like they are in another state in plenty. Big Lots, Tuesday Morning, thrift stores and don't forget to hit garden centers and those roadside cement statue and lawn art places!

Dan, with Halloween coming up so soon a lot of people around this time are super busy with their own preparations and don't spend a lot of time reading and responding to all the threads. I know i only hit a few threads in a few of the forum topics each time I log on and log on time is hit or miss for me too. I also try to check my mail here. Up loading photos and posting can eat up a lot of one's time too. I think you've had a good response given it's been less than a day so far.
I have found some of my "nice" resin tombstones at TJMaxx and HomeGoods, and a few years back found beautiful, large foam tombstones at Walmart during clearance. Hopefully next year I will have some time to make a tombstone or two myself. I've picked up cherubs and angels that I would like to use as toppers at places like Ross Dress For Less, Goodwill, Target, Walmart, Kmart, and sometimes my local garden store throughout the year. I always look for unique statutes I like alot and those that are on sale or clearance. I've never monster mudded before so can't be of any help there but the tutorial section should be really helpful. The large foam tombstones from Walmart I plan to alter using some techiques i've seen on here and expect that it will be mostly foam work and then latex paint. The headstones are all the same but i just loved the basic shape of them. They really are in need of some variation among them, and I'm hoping that mixing them with my resin tombstones should make for a more interesting cemetary.
Lil Ghouliette, I've seen similar statutes like the one you used but never imagined how beautiful they could turn out on a headstone. Very nice job.
