Okay so there have been threads about creating a Haunted Mansion-type floating candelabra using the Walgreen's Haunted Candelabra and the Tekky Toys Flying Ghost prop as the pathline.
I have a few of the little flying bat props that flaps its wings and flies in a circle. Has anyone ever tried using the bat prop with the flying Ghost prop? The bat is pretty light weight as I recall and might be able to be attached to the propline were the ghost was attached. If it works you could have a bat flying down a line (up to 25 feet I think they say) and return and have the flapping bat fly around in circles at the same time. Would be cool if it would work. Both my bats and Flying Ghosts are still packed away somewhere or I'd be trying this out right now.

I wondered about the same thing a few days ago. I'm not sure what the circular momentum from the bat would do to the ghost mover. If it would cause it to come off the line or just make it wobble too much.
Might work, just make sure the stops that make the ghost change direction are far enough away from the bat's swing circle. LOL

Ah yes, I wonder what the effect of the centrifugal force will be on it. It does go around pretty fast when it circles. As for the end stops, did think about those and one definitley doesn't want to clip their bat's wings!

Even though those flying bats have been around for many years, it still amazes me that it's a bat that actually FLIES!
Pretty cool, for a battery powered prop!
