Anyone ever have an issue installing the USB to serial driver for this board? I can't seem to get it to work.

Which USB / serial unit you using... Is the driver not fully installing ? The 1st time I had to reinstall mine twice & was fine after that, I have a Keyspan.
when you plug it into the SSC32, check your com port setting to see if it is recognizing it.When you look in the mirror at midnight,....what looks back at you.........

I agree with DarkLord, go in through control panel and check the com port settings and look for your usb/serial converter. Then, under settings, check that VSA is looking at the right port. (It is not automatic) Also, check that you are at the proper Baud rate, 11200 (I think, not at home right now) That should take care of it though. Let everyone know if you need more help. BTW it is worth the effort.

Tried installing the drivers a couple of times and I don't get any install errors.
Plug in the usb cable connected to the SSC 32 and it gets detected as com5 in the device manager but ends up with Code 10 device can't start and puts the yellow exclamation mark
Baud rate is set to 115200 and the jumpers on the board are set for that as well per the manual
Everything I've read points to a driver issue but I'm running version 1417 which I believe is the latest I could find.
In terms of what I'm using it's just a standard USB serial cable that came with my GYS skull so I know it's the right one for the board if that's what you meant by the question.
Also tried it on two laptops and I get the same issue. Here's some more random infor....
Lynx Terminal is the application that seems to run with it and I'm using PL2303 Prolific Driver Install ver 1417
