Thread: Dollar Tree Carvable Pumpkins

I got these a while ago at my local Dollar Tree. They are styrofoam and about 4in tall and 5.5in wide. The inside is white. I bought 2 just to try them out.




My kid brother carved one similar to the one that appears in the first two Halloween movies. I did a more traditional grinning one. The carving was surprisingly easy with an x-acto knife, and with a little touch-up to the cut edges at the end, they turn out pretty good for just one buck. In the video I am using the LED tea lights that I also got at the Dollar Tree. I would imagine these would go well outside or inside.

If you guys got any and craved them up, please share! I wanna see them! My next venture is the larger, higher quality Michale's craft pumpkin.

I got a few for my lil guy to carve and they aren't bad just small

I love these but I don't carve them..... I decorate the outside with other items from the dollar store.

I saw them last night wasent sure how the quilty was on them... Iam going back soon and getting some.. Once carved will post pic

I bought one last week but haven't carved it yet. They look good enough lighted. It would be cool to have 10 or 20 all carved and lit.

Look like the perfect size to go next to a cannibal pumpkin.

Oh, man, I didn't know those were carvable! The ones at our store didn't have labels. I am going back today to see if they have any left. Those would have been great for our party last night. Darn!
