Has anybody had any experience with it? They have it for $47 at Toys R Us. I'm considering getting him.

I have him and that is a good price actually. Not bad prop, bought it out on impulse shopping last year, and end up not using it, being so behind on Halloween day.

He's great and very easy to assemble (unlike other tekky'S) As for durability, I can't tell you, since I just bought him two months ago on toys r' us ebay, but I tested him and he worked pretty neat. It's a very good price, I recommend you to get him. I have the video of mine on the chanel "omcgh".
Where Hinges creek in doorless chambers... And where strange and Frightening sounds Echo...through the halls... Whenever candlelights flicker... where the air is DEATHLY STILL... that is the time when GHOSTS are present... Practicing their terror, with GOULISH DELIGHT...

I have had this guy for what will be my 3rd year now!
What a simple prop, my Toters LOVE this guy BUT you NEED to use a fogger with him to get the most out of it!
GO FOR IT you will love it!!!

The thing that bothers me is the one at Toys R Us is about $47 but is only being sold online and the shipping is $12. They do have free shipping for total purchase of $75 or more but their's nothing else I want.

Twelve bucks for shipping is average. Keep in mind that free shipping over a certain amount purchased is really just a marketing ploy to get you to spend more money. Most of the time you save more money by SPENDING less and paying shipping, and not feeling bad about it.
The GOG is a REALLY good prop, imo. I've had mine for two years and got a second late last year for 45 bucks. Considering this prop goes for anywhere from80 to 100 bucks or more, it's a great price under 50. And yes, this prop is at it's best with a fog machine. Reason being, it comes with a special wired fog timer that will time each fog blast to work with the prop. With most fog props, you just hook up a fog machine and it blasts when the fog machine is ready. The GOG prop actually syncs the fog blasts and calls for the blast when the prop goes in motion. And the prop, like all tekky props, works on a timmer mode as well. So it truly is set it and forget it. Couple things though. It takes some noodling with the fog hose to get the ghoul to rise and fall straight. Just takes a little futzing. You definitely want to get the power adapter for this prop. Any rising prop like this eats batteries within three hours or less. And of course, you'll need to add fog juice to the fogger if the prop is activated frequently throughout the night- at least one refill will be needed. So all together, properly configured for you, the GOG would cost you-
68 bucks for the prop approx- tax/shipping included
10 bucks for the power adapter
30 bucks approx for fog machine
20 bucks for a gallon of juice
130 bucks approx to get the most of it and that's a good price for the prop itself. It's usually more. Is it worth it? I say yes indeed. It's really quite a show with the fog- very impressive. Of course you can save a bunch of money and leave out the fog. It's still a great rising prop. But the timed fog bursts puts it over the top. Good luck. If I didn't have two already, I'd grab the TAU deal myself.

^ Thanks Shockwave.
I actually a better deal @ Meijer. They have it for $44 w/ about $7.60 for shipping. I'm going to get it through them.
I'm going to do without the fog. I live in an apartment complex. I'm only planning to put GOG on my patio along with a couple of crows.

Shockwave- I just got this prop at Target.com for 59.66 shipped. I am a static person, and can barely insert batteries in my props. (ha ha) Anyway, I want to get a power adaptor like you suggest. Where would be the best place to pick one up? I have alot of props that use them, but they are always included. I googled it, and lots of different options popped up. Please help me out! My husband said just go to "Radio Shack." I am gonna use my fog machine and I want to have real power with this baby! Thanks!
