What's a good local source (for me, U.S. retail stores) for "clear" UV reactive paint? I'd like it to glow green under a blacklight but be invisible in regular light. Rather not mail order if I don't have to. But so far I'm not seeing it in crafts sections of Walmart or craft stores like Michaels, etc. Shipping usually kills you on stuff like that. I don't even recall seeing anything like this in my local Spirit store. Maybe I wasn't looking in the right place? Or it's more rare than I thought.
Target is now selling something they call Glow Light Spray, or something like that, in their Halloween section. It's an orange container and doesn't say what color it will make something glow.
I've heard in a pinch that certain brands of fluorescent hair spray can serve the purpose. I'm wanting to paint some gel foot insoles with "clear" UV reactive paint (or cheap $1 white insoles spray painted black, then painted with the UV) to see if I can get a Ghostly Footstep effect. I'd set up a UV spotlight or flood light on a mechanical food rotator to make the steps appear and disappear. Not as nice as a $190 effect others are achieving in another thread, but probably "good enough" for my yard haunt.

I've seen tiny vials of "uv paint" that looked clear at a few non-chain art stores in my area. Otherwise I think this is something that you'd need to buy online. Pretty neat effect.
