Thread: Walgreen's Skellys - you want?

I had the manager pull the last 5 from my store in Monterey, CA. I am buying them if you guys want them shipped to you. I will only charge you cost - my cost plus shipping - to help those of you who don't have access to them.

I am not sure they will be there in the morning but the manager said I could have all six of the ones they have.

I inquired last month about shipping a Garden Ridge skelly (same as the Walgreens one) to a member in California (I'm in N.C.).
I boxed it and took it to the UPS store for a quote and was told $36.00. And that was after removing the arms and legs to make it fit in a smaller box.

It could ship for $13 if it could be broken down to this size box:

If the box is too small, I would think that USPS would ship it for way less than $36 in a bigger box. That person you spoke to at UPS -I'm not sure they gave you the right price. Maybe they gave a 2-day delivery price. If you ship ground it would be cheaper

Yeah UPS is insane! I had prices up to $75!!!!! For the skelly box.

I admit USPS is probably cheaper (if they are still in business at the time of shipment), but to fit a skelly in a 12 X 12 X 5 and 1/2 inch box you'd have to dis-assemble it rib by rib and saw some bones.

Thanks for the offer but I just picked up one at the first of three Walgreens in my area. Lucky me! Not sure what I'll do with it but for now it's sitting in my wife's passenger seat waiting to surprise her when she goes out to lunch.

I just hit the Walgreens by me and they had 6 Skellys in stock. I bought 1 and a giant spider too for $30.

I would adore one, but sadly the cost of shipping to the UK would be horrendous. I think It would have to be broken down and sent in god knows how many bits to work.

I'd be down. Just don't got the funds this year. I might grab a skeleton or two from Spirit though..

These are cool, HalloweenHellmouth had 2 on his vlog this week. Pretty cool!! The hands are fragile.....well I guess the whole thing is fragile. Still they rock!!
